Tucked away, down the surprisingly quiet end of Burton Street, Darlinghurst, The Commons offers a quaint, temporary escape for any creative thinker. It’s the perfect spot for some leisurely work, perhaps some casual blogging or brainstorming… depending on the day (sometimes the music can be a tad distracting). We were tempted by the roast pork belly ($26) on the menu but were to busy drinking vino and discussing ideas.
With pot plants hanging from its beams and reclaimed timber tables and chairs, The Commons is certainly an inspirational, creative space. We like it for informal meetings and jotting down ideas. See it for yourself, check out the opening hours here.
