Penguin Random House Australia will be holding a National Book Bloggers Forum during the Sydney Writer’s Festival. Random House Australia Marketing and Publicity Director, Brett Osmond has stated that it will be “a collaboration between the growing book blogging community and Penguin Random House”. He also said “we want to share news about our books and authors with leading bloggers and equally want to hear what bloggers would like to see from us too.”
The free event will coincide with the festival’s opening day and will feature special author guests, publishers, an open forum for discussion as well as a session on how to promote a book blog.
Osmond said:
In this constantly-evolving media landscape, readers now get their information from many different platforms and as part of this we recognise that blogs are an increasingly important source of information and entertainment.”
